Server Types[edit | edit source]

When you join Generic Cooking Game, players have six types of servers to choose from:

  • Normal, where customers arrive at the restaurant and the players need to make and serve dishes.
  • Solo. Same as Normal, but only one player is allowed.
  • Ranked: Level 15 and Ranked: Level 35. Same as Normal, but players have to be at least Rank 15 or Rank 35, respectively.
  • VC Only for anyone with access to voice chat.
  • Creative, where customers do not show up and players get to make their own custom dishes.
  • Tutorial, for beginners learning the basics of Generic Cooking Game

Map[edit | edit source]

The game takes place in a desert. The map has the Restaurant which is the centerpiece of the game, the Garage where trucks can be found and where cargo can be unloaded, and the Factory where cargo shows up to be delivered to the garage for restocking ingredients. It also has a hidden Basement.

Outside of the restaurant, there are solar panels, a parking lot, a Wish Store for buying Halloween and Christmas crates, and Hobo Joe's shop for buying a Standing Fan.

User Interface[edit | edit source]

On the top-left corner there is:

  • a UI button, for hiding all of the UI elements
  • a Cmd button, showing all the available commands in the game.

On the top, there is a Menu button, a Recipes button, and the current in-game time in between. The game makes use of 24-hour time, so it is 13:00 instead of 1:00 PM. Right below the in-game time is a star meter representing the restaurant's rating, and the current day number.

On the left side of the screen there is a Rewards button, an Inventory button, a Changelog button, a Gamepasses button, and a Settings button. And on the right side, there is a Locator button.

On the bottom-left corner, there is:

  • the number of stars you have
  • the amount of currency you have
  • your avatar
  • the amount of energy you have (along with your energy rate)
  • your current rank along with the amount of points for that rank.

On the bottom, there is your earnings multiplier.

On the bottom-right corner, there are the applicable controls for the game.

Mechanics[edit | edit source]

In a new server, the game starts at day 0. Days start at 0:00 and end at 23:59, because the game uses 24-hour time. Inside the restaurant, there is a chart showing the bills, bank, and net amount. Once the bills exceed the bank, the restaurant will soon close due to bankruptcy and the game starts all over at day 0.

The following sections give a brief overview of the game's mechanics.
